Also viable for non-chemical applications
While WEED-IT is best known for its spot-spraying technology, the versatility of its Quadro sensors – driven by the Power of Fluorescence – extends far beyond herbicide application.
The sensors can also guide hot water nozzles, cultivator shears, and chisel ploughs with pinpoint precision to treat individual weeds or plants. This same technology is perfectly suited for use in horticultural crops and even enables targeted treatment with a range of crop care applications to individual trees in orchards and vineyards.

WEED-IT has always been designed to minimise the use of crop protection products – delivering savings of up to 95%, depending on conditions and application type.
Using up to 95% less chemical also means using 95% less water for tank mixes, allowing operators to spray more hectares per load and spend less time refilling or travelling.
These efficiencies extend beyond the sprayer. Fewer refills mean reduced fuel consumption, lower tyre wear, and less overall equipment strain. The result is a more sustainable, cost-effective operation with a smaller carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact.
WEED-IT consistently delivers one of the highest detection and targeting rates in the industry – between 95% and 98%.
Achieving a hit rate as close as possible to 100% is essential for effective and sustainable weed management. Every weed left undetected can lead to additional spray rounds, increased weed seed banks, and a greater risk of herbicide resistance.
In dryland farming, undetected weeds also compete with crops for precious soil moisture. By precisely targeting only the weeds, WEED-IT helps farmers optimise every aspect of crop care, improve efficiency, and strengthen their long-term sustainability.

We design and manufacture our components either in-house or with trusted local partners to maintain strict quality standards while minimising our carbon footprint. Our facilities are powered entirely by solar energy, with rooftop panels making our operations fully self-sufficient.
We also work closely with local dealers and OEMs worldwide to assemble WEED-IT systems closer to their final destination. By avoiding the shipment of full sprayers or booms across long distances, we significantly reduce transport emissions – delivering efficiency and sustainability from production to paddock.
