Can WEED-IT Quadro be fitted to my current sprayer?.
Yes. We have after sales integration kits available for a wide range of self-propelled and trailing sprayers including Croplands, John Deere, Rogator, Goldacres and Hardi. Please get in touch if you’d like to find out about upgrading your current sprayer.
What size boom can you install WEED-IT Quadro on?
WEED-IT Quadro can be installed on any size boom, from a 7 metre Optispot 7 right through to a 48m Agtronics Chaser trailing sprayer. With a dedicated Engineering Manager, we are able to design and customise installations on a wide range of boom types and sizes.
Is WEED-IT Quadro a camera sprayer?
No. WEED-IT Quadro does not capture any images or use artificial intelligence to identify weeds. Our patented technology uses chlorophyll fluorescence to detect active chlorophyll and target weeds in your fallow paddocks.
What are the ongoing costs once I have purchased WEED-IT Quadro?
Zero. We do not charge any ongoing fees or usage fees for using your technology.
Can I spray at night using WEED-IT Quadro?
Yes. Because our sensors generate their own light source you are able to spray at any time of the day without installing heavy and expensive external light sources.
How much weight will WEED-IT Quadro add to my boom?
Along the boom WEED-IT Quadro adds no more than 750grams per metre.
What is PWM?
Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology in boom sprayers controls nozzle output by rapidly pulsing spray droplets, allowing for precise application rates regardless of speed variations or turning. This ensures consistent coverage, reduces chemical waste, and enhances efficiency in broadacre spraying. All WEED-IT Quadro installations include PWM.
