Our sensors detect the light naturally emitted by living green plants, allowing precise herbicide application directly on each weed. How WEED-IT works – The Power of Chlorophyll

Every living plant contains chlorophyll, the pigment it needs for photosynthesis. WEED-IT sensors detect this natural signal, instantly identifying living green weeds on the ground.

The more chlorophyll a plant has, the stronger the signal it emits — allowing WEED-IT to distinguish small seedlings from larger, more established weeds. This means precision targeting, less chemical waste, and cleaner soil between your trees or crops.

WEED-IT’s fluorescence technology works much like the tools used by forensic investigators to reveal invisible traces — only here, it reveals what’s living in your paddock. It’s science working with nature to deliver smarter, more sustainable spraying.

In spot spraying mode, WEED-IT targets all living green material on a per plant basis.
