WEED-IT Optispot
WEED-IT Optispot is an advanced orchard sprayer integrating WEED-IT QUADRO optical spot spraying technology but designed specifically for nut and fruit growers.
Save up to 90% on chemical costs – WEED-IT sensors detect active chlorophyll and target only weeds, not dirt.
- 12 WEED-IT Sensors: Customised for low-height operation, with a maximum boom height of 600 mm under trees.
- Wide Coverage: Weed detection and spraying across the entire row, up to 7.3 meters wide, with options for wider coverage to meet grower needs.
- Six Sensor Version: Available for under-tree spraying, accommodating a mid-row cover crop
- Adjustable Design: Features for varying row widths, centre boom height adjustment for different bed heights, break-away outer booms, and spray suppression to reduce drift.
WEED-IT Retrofit
WEED-IT is transforming how horticulturists manage weeds – delivering efficiency, accuracy, and savings of up to 95% on crop protection products by targeting only the weeds, not the soil.
Each WEED-IT Quadro sensor can scan up to one metre wide, dividing that area into four independently controlled 25 cm zones. The lower the sensor is mounted, the narrower and more precise its detection – making it ideal for weed control in orchard berms, vineyard rows, and under-tree areas.
The system’s flexibility allows complete customisation. Growers can tailor sensor placement and orientation to suit their setup – whether targeting weeds along the berms or managing cover crops in the inter-rows.
